Abstract
Purpose/signiifcance]As an important participant in making policies, think tanks are playing an increasingly important role in domestic and foreign affairs of all the countries in the world. UK owns high-level think tanks, which can inspire the development of think tanks in China. Therefore, it is of great importance to conduct a summary and research on this topic. [Method/process] In this paper, we were focused on four aspects of think tanks including the development trends, main features, types and functions to conduct a systematic summary through a desk study.[Result/conclusion] This paper gives some speciifc thoughts and advice on the current development problems of Chinese think tanks, for instance, the unreasonable structure, lacking independence, low level of specialization and weak political inlfuence.关键词
