摘要

Abstract

Objective: To study the effects of different doses of the tea from Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam on sedative-hypnotic , immune function , growth and development of mice .Methods:Compared with the physiological saline groups , the effects of the Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam tea on spontaneous activity of mice ,dormancy-number and dormancy-time of mice induced by pentobarbital sodium were observed ,and the spleen index, thymus index, liver index, growth and development with three doses of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam tea were determined .Results: Compared with the physiological saline groups, the three doses of the Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam tea could inhibit the spontaneous activity ,increase dormancy-number and dormancy-time of mice induced by pentobarbital sodium , and it could also obviously increase the spleen index , thymus index , liver index and strengthen the growth and development of mice .Conclusions: The Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam tea has obviously sedative and hypnotic effects in mice and there is a synergistic effect between them and pentobarbital sodium, and the tea could also obviously strengthen the immune function , growth and development of mice .
