A power-source simulating control of VSC-MTDC with multiple wind farms integration
摘要
Abstract
The voltage source converter ( VSC) based multi-terminal HVDC ( VSC-MTDC) is a superior scheme for the connection of wind farm groups .In this paper , a power-source simulating control method is proposed and a star to-pology structure of VSC-MTDC is used for the integration of multiple wind farms .To achieve the follow-up transmis-sion of wind power , the wind-farm VSC ac bus is controlled to a source node has constant phase angle , constant fre-quency and constant amplitude .In the star topology , the wind farm side VSCs shares a common dc transmission corri-dor and a dc bus of the VSCs is assigned as confluence node .To regulate the dc voltage , the grid-side VSC is applied with a new direct current vector control method .The simulation of a three-wind-farm four-terminal VSC-MTDC system in PSCAD/EMTDC verifies the correctness and validation of the proposed control strategy and the feasibility of the to -pology .关键词
