Exhibition, Conservation and Education:A Research on the Master Plan of Zoos in Singapore
摘要
Abstract
Wildlife Reserves Singapore has founded and managing four distinctive zoos, which are Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Safari. The research elucidates the constitution, ideas, objectives and management mode of these institutions. It investigates the master plan design of the four zoos, analyses the division, distribution and the characters of exhibition design in each zoo, and reveals the master plan of visiting mode based on exhibition characters. The four zoos ful y considered the background of high-density urban environment and thriving tourism industry in Singapore. Its master plan ideas are opening interactive exhibition, developing with tourism industry, wildlife conversation and youth’ nature education.关键词
