Influence of nursing intervention on sleep quality of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma during radiotherapy

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on the sleep quality of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma during radiotherapy.Methods 60 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) treated at our department from August,2015 to April,2016 were set as study objects and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,30 cases for each group.The control group were routinely cared;in addition,the observation group were individually cared.Results The patients' satisfaction,sleep time,and the incidence of complications were better in the observation group than in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Individual nursing intervention for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma is obviously effective and can effectively increase the patients' sleep quality and satisfaction.关键词
