儿童病毒性脑炎继发癫痫的临床特征及脑电图分析
Clinical features and electroencephalogram analysis of epilepsy secondary to viral encephalitis in children

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical features and electroencephalogram conditions of epilepsy secondary to viral encephalitis in children.Methods 46 children confirmed with epilepsy secondary to viral encephalitis were set as an observation group and 69 children with viral encephalitis but without secondary epilepsy a control group.The clinical features and electroencephalogram conditions in the observation group were analyzed.The cerebral cortex injuries and electroencephalogram conditions were compared between these two groups.Results 35 cases occurred partial epileptic seizure and 11 comprehensively epileptic seizure,9 status epilepticus and 37 non-status epilepticus,and 11 cases suffered 1 time epileptic seizure,29 cases 2 to 6 times,and 6 cases ＞ 7 times in the observation group.The electroencephalogram showed foudroyant epileptic wave,long-range paroxysmal epileptic wave,or high amplitude slow wave paroxysm;abnormal θ and δ waves continually appeared in 25 cases,paroxysmally in 16 cases,and dissymmetry in 5 cases.The incidences of cerebral cortex injuries and serious abnormal electroencephalogram were apparently higher in the observation group than in control group,with staitistical differences (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The clinicians should know the clinical features and electroencephalogram change of epilepsy secondary to viral encephalitis in children,control the convulsions and epileptic seizure timely,reduce the recurrence chances of epilepsy,enhance the clinical effects,and improve the children's prognosis.关键词
