Abstract
Objective To study the effect of ultrasound-guided percutaneous catheter drainage for liver abscess.Methods 98 patients with liver abscess treated at our hospital from February,2010 to February,2015 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,49 for each group.The observation group took ultrasound-guided percutaneous catheter drainage and the control group incision and catheter drainage.The treatment effect and complications were observed in both groups.Results The effective rate and total efficacy were better in the observation group than in the control group [87.76％ (43/49) vs.71.43％ (35/49),x 2=4.021,P=0.045 and 100.00％ (49/49) vs.91.84％ (45/49),x 2=4.170,P=0.041].The white blood cell count was lower and the time for body temperature returning to normal,the time for extubation,and hospital stay were significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group (t=7.259,P=0.000;t=5.585,P=0.000;t=6.212,P=0.000;t=7.314,P=0.000).The incidence of complications was 2.04％ in the observation group and 14.29％ in the control group (x 2=4.900,P=0.027).Conclusions Ultrasound-guided percutaneous catheter drainage for patients with liver abscess is effective and can promote the patients' post-operative recovery and decrease the incidence of post-operative complications,so it is worth being generalized.关键词
