摘要

Abstract

In Hubei plain area,cotton field is liable to waterlogging due to more precipitation during the flowering and boll setting stage,which brings an adverse impact on cotton growth and yield. In order to study effective measures to mitigate cotton damage caused by waterlogging,the relevant experiments were made which were based on severe waterlogging damage occurred in the flowering and boll setting stages,a situation was simulated that cotton suffered from waterlogging for 10 d under flooding depth of 5—10 cm, at the 2 d before waterlogging,each plant was added 2 g oxygen slow-release fertilizer(OSF) by hole fertilization( T2 treatment) ,but there was no OSF in T1 treatment before waterlogging,cotton growth and physiological indexes was observed after waterlogging, in the harvest season cotton yield was calculated according to actual crop. The experimental results showed that OSF added into cotton filed before waterlogging could significantly increase the plant height,restrain peroxidase activity and reduce malonaldehyde accumulation in the plant. Compared with the contrast ( normal management, no waterlogging),the relative yield of the T1 treatment was 43. 31% before waterlogging,which of the T2 treatment was 50. 94% before waterlogging. Obviously,hole fertilization of OSF may remarkably mitigate waterlogging damage and reduce cotton yield loss.
