Relationship between Self - protection Awareness and Interpersonal Trust with Strangers in College Students

Abstract
Objective :To explore the relationship between self - protection awareness and interpersonal trust of col‐lege students .Methods :204 college students from a university in Zhejiang participated in the study .Students were sampled to fill out the college students'trust degree questionnaire ,college students'self - protection awareness ques‐tionnaire to explore the relationship between self - protection awareness and interpersonal trust of college students . Results :The sense of trust and self - protection of college students were in the middle level .Female college students’ self - protection was higher than the male students (t = ‐2 .863 ,P < 0 .005) .College students from rural areas were higher in their self - protection awareness than those from the city (χ2 = 23 .83 ,P < 0 .01) .There was a negative rela‐tionship between the sense of trust and self - protection awareness (P < 0 .01) .The main factors influencing college students'self - protection awareness were the sense of efficacy on risk control and the inclination (β= ‐0 .170 ,‐0 .137 ;P < 0 .01) .Conclusion :At the same time to trust the strangers ,sense of efficacy on risk control can improve the self -protection awareness of college students .关键词
