Abstract
Objective :To acquire the current situation of police officers on mental health and related influencing fac‐tors ,thus providing theoretical foundation for the mental behavior training of police officers .Methods :This study a‐dopted cause uncertainty scale ,attribution style questionnaire ,coping style questionnaire and SCL - 90 about 576 civil policemen through the way of cluster sampling .The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis ,T - test ,a‐nalysis of variance ,chi - squared test ,correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis .Results :The overall mental health level of police officers was lower than that of social norm (t = 9 .804 ,P < 0 .01) .In terms of the number of posi‐tive distribution of SCL - 90 factors ,the major mental problems were obsessive - compulsive disorder ,interpersonal sensitivity and hostility .Reason - uncertainty ,the attribution styles on negative incidents showed negative correlation with the level of mental health (r = 0 .312 ,0 .120 ;P < 0 .01) and positive attribution style showed positive correlation with the level of mental health(r = ‐0 .121 ,P < 0 .01) .Results of logistic regression analysis for susceptibility to men‐tal problems :The variables in the equation ,including age(B = 0 .60 ,P < 0 .05) ,reason uncertainty (B = 0 .07 ,P <0 .05) ,self causal uncertainty (B = 0 .08 ,P < 0 .05)and the attribution styles of negative incidents (B = 0 .08 ,P < 0 .05) , had statistical significance and they showed positive effect with the possibility of mental problems .Conclusion :The mental health level of Liaoning police is relatively low .The overall attribution styles of police officers are positive . The coping styles of police officers tend to be emotional .Higher age and causal uncertainty ,as well as negative attri‐bution on negative incidents are dangerous factors of mental problems .关键词
