Abstract
The spinning cost and quality of Xinjiang machine picked cotton and foreign machine picked cotton were compared and analyzed.The differences and causes of Xinjiang machine picked cotton and foreign machine picked cotton were discussed.Cotton consumption,cost of cotton consumption,spinning quality and cotton con-sumption in the fore-spinning process of carded yarn and combed yarn spun by Xinjiang cotton and foreign ma-chine picked cotton were compared.It is pointed out that the quality of American SJV and Australian OBLE,AND machine picked cotton are better than Xinjiang machine picked cotton.Compared with the same level of machine picked cotton,cotton consumption of Xinjiang machine picked cotton in spinning is larger,yarn quality and yarn price are different.It is considered that quality differences of Xinj iang machine picked cotton and foreign machine picked cotton should be fully recognized.Based on spinning quality and cost,production place and level of machine picked cotton should be reasonably selected to control production cost and ensure yarn quality.关键词
