摘要

Abstract

Effect of higher temperature alkaline boiled technology extraction of mulberry fiber was discussed. Low-content gum mulberry fibers were extracted from stem and bark by higher temperature alkaline boiled meth-od.The mulberry fiber and cotton blended yarn was spun and its knitting fabric were knitted.The difference be-tween cotton mulberry fiber blended yarn with cotton flax fiber blended yarn were analyzed.The results show that the size of mulberry fibers is similar to the previous extraction at 20 min which is the best degumming time.The hemicellulose content of mulberry fibers is lower than 88% and the lignin content of mulberry fibers is lower than 7 1%.Comparing with cotton flax fiber blended yarn,yarn unevenness and hairiness index of cotton mulberry fiber blended yarn are lower,breaking strength and breaking elongation rate are higher.Comparing with cotton flax fi-ber blended fabric,the relatively feel of cotton mulberry fibers blended fabric is more similar to the cotton fabric. It is considered that mulberry fiber extracted by the higher temperature alkaline boiled method is more suited to textile.
