单层气体电子倍增探测器的性能测试
The Performance Test of Single Gas Electron Multiplier Detector
摘要
Abstract
A Gas detector based on Gas Electron Multiplier with the sensitive area of 10 cm×10 cm is introduced. The basic performances of the GEM detector are tested with 5. 9 keV x ray of 55Fe source,which are the proportional,energy resolution and effective gain with the field of drift gap, the voltage of GEM and the field of induce gap. And we found the best work condition of the detector.The results show that the detector has a good proportion and works stable.The effective gain and energy resolution is 500 and 17.6%,re-spectively,when the work voltage of GEM is 451 V.关键词
