Abstract
On the basis of analysis of the status quo and the existing problems of the river training of the lower Yellow River wandering reaches and considering the changes of water and sediment, the paper pointed out the limitation of the existing layout of river training projects and on the background of multifunctional requirements such as flood control safety, water supply safety, ecological safety and floodplain safety, it proposed the training ideas and plain pattern for further improving the layout of the lower Yellow River training projects. The training ideas are to make clear the medium water training scale and arrange properly small water training projects to improve project layout; to strengthen malformed river regime training; to strengthen border control at key river channels; to coordinate development of flood control works construction and water ecology safety. The training measures include: 1) To transform or reinforce the built dam buttresses in the straight flow sending channels;2) To extend upstream or downstream the controls works as required by small water control, and the upstream extension should be aligned with the main channel control line;3) To adopt properly face⁃to⁃face groins of both bank training as supplement to ensure river regime stability for specially important river channels, especially those with large water diversion requirements from both banks and;4) If malformed river regimes appear in some river reaches, the emergency works should be arranged along the main river channel control line.关键词
