玉米种子大小对其萌发、活力及幼苗生长的影响
Effects of Seed Size on Seed Germination, Vigor and Seedling Growth of Maize
摘要
Abstract
Three maize hybrids,Zhengdan 958,Xianyu 335 and Nuoda 1,were selected as experimen-tal materials to study the effects of different seed sizes on seed germination and seedling growth.The results showed that for the same hybrid,different seed sizes had no obvious effects on the germination rate,germina-tion potential and germination index,but greatly affected the seed vigor and seedling growth.That was,bigger seeds owned higher seed vigor than that of smaller seeds.The differences in seed germination among different hybrids were not obvious,but those in seed vigor and seedling growth were bigger.It indicated that seed size mainly influenced the seedling growth rather than seed germination.关键词
