Abstract
As a compilation of the thoughts prevalent in the late Eastern Han Dynasty , T he T ai Ping Classic has always been valued by modern scholars .The ideologies in the book are heterogeneous , while they can be generalized to reflect ideological trends to be adapted in two topics :personal health and national governance .In this book ,“filial piety” became the emotional basis to reconstruct human relations such as “father and son” ,“master and apprentice”and“monarch and subjects” .T hese rela‐tions are the social infrastructure ,and people must adhere to filial piety ,be obedient and practicing filial piety . T he T ai Ping Classic emphasizes the idea that the ideals of good personal health and na‐tional governance could only be achieved in the implementation of filial piety ,w hich has also become a new point of view to explain the relationship between Heaven and human .The Tai Ping Classic im‐plied that filial piety is a prerequisite for one to do good ,acquire longevity ,and avoid woes from reli‐gious point of view ,and so the practice of filial piety is closely combined with the longevity of Tao‐ism .By means of reinterpretation of filial piety ,the early form of Taoist made its efforts to change their appearances to integrate with social life ,which could be demonstrated in The Tai Ping Classic . These efforts has affected the development of Taoism for nearly two thousand years thereafter .Thus loyalty and filial piety has volved from the ethic of the Confucianism to an indispensable doctrine of Taoism ,and even become a prerequisite to transcend the religion .关键词
