On the Concept of Juvenile Delinquency in the Research with Respect to Criminology

Abstract
At present there are still many disputes about the definition of “juvenile delinquency”in the researches concerning juvenile delinquency in China .This paper combines the domestic related resear‐ches ,discriminates the two concepts of “minor” and“crime”in“juvenile delinquency” and points out that juvenile delinquency refers to those crimes that are implemented by minors under age of 18 ,inclu‐ding criminal behaviors that violate the criminal law and are to be punished by penalty ,and also the general illegal actions that violate other law s and regulations and bad behaviors w hich are against mo‐rality and social norms .This paper defines the basic concept of “juvenile delinquency” and solves the basic problems in the research of juvenile delinquency ,w hich may lay some foundation for the follow‐up study of juvenile delinquency .关键词
