Abstract

UsingZizyphus jujube core-shell furfural residue as raw material, with the method of nitric acid- ethanol to extract cellulose, then microcrystalline cellulose was prepared with dilute hydrochloric acid hydrolysis of cellulose. On the basis of single factor experiment, using orthogonal test method to study the effect of hydrochloric acid concentration (A), solid-liquid ratio (B), hydrolysis temperature (C), hydrolysis time (D) on the yield of microcrystalline cellulose, according to the results of the optimum process, the best conditions for preparation of microcrystalline cellulose was 7% hydrochloric acid concentration, solid-liquid ratio 1∶10, hydrolysis temperature 70℃, hydrolysis time 2.5 h. Under the condition of the preparation of microcrystalline cellulose polymerization degree was 266.07, crystallinity was 76.49%, the yield was 89.21%, the properties of the product was good, process conditions were stable. This study provided a new way for comprehensive utilization of Zizyphus jujube resources.
