Abstract
Cationic quaternary ammonium modified polyether polysiloxane (α,ω-QPES) was synthesized using terminal-group hydrogen-containing polysiloxane (α,ω-PHMS), triethanolamine (TEOA) and polyalkylene glycol al yl glycidyl ether (APEE) as materials. Chemical structure of α,ω-QPES was characterized by IR and 1H-NMR. The subtranslucent α,ω-QPES microemulsion was prepared by emulsification with iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ether (1350), and the application performance ofα,ω-QPES emulsion on cotton fabrics was al⁃so investigated. The results showed that the α,ω-QPES had anticipated structure, and the treated cotton fab⁃rics with α,ω-QPES emulsion obtained favorable hydrophilicity, softness and washability, and the whiteness re⁃mained the same.关键词
