Optimization of dosage of reducing agent AS in the sulphur black complement system

Abstract
In production trial, sulphur black BR, reducing agent AS, caustic soda and penetrating agent SRD were used to pre-reduce the initial dyeing solution and three fol ow-up complement solutions which sup⁃plemented to the dyeing at a fixed flow. The composition of the supplementary liquid was optimized by chang⁃ing the amount of reducing agent AS when the dosage of other three components kept the same. The concen⁃trations of Black BR and reducing agent AS were detected at intervals of 4 h and the finished fabric products which corresponding to the test time were picked out to measure the dry rubbing fastness, K/S value and the warp strength. The results showed that when the initial dyeing solution was composed of sulphur black 160 g/L, reducing agent AS 80 g/L, caustic soda 25 g/L, penetrating agent SRD 5 g/L, the complement solution com⁃posed of sulphur black 240 g/L, reducing agent AS 120 g/L, caustic soda 40 g/L, penetrating agent SRD 5 g/L could give stabilized dyeing performance with best dry rubbing fastness and the highest K/S value for the fin⁃ished fabrics.关键词
