Research progress of anti-osteoporotic effects of genistein
摘要
Abstract
Genistein, as one kind of phytoestrogens, can stimu-late osteoblastic proliferation, differention and mineralization, and can also inhibit bone resorption activity of osteoclast. The effect of genistein on bone metabolism lies in various molecular mechanisms. This paper reviews the research progress of the an-ti-osteoporotic action of genistein and its mechanism, which may provide a basis for the research and development of new agents to treat osteoporosis.关键词
