Abstract

Objective] To study effects of microbial fertilizer Nanjing shield on yield and quality of Artemisia selengensis Turcz to provide theo-retical basis for planting of safe and high-yield A.selengensis.[ Method] In the greenhouse and plot test, a new type of microbial fertilizer Nanjing shield instead of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides was applied to A.selengensis, and the impacts of the microbial fertilizer on the growth, disease prevention and quality of A.selengensis were analyzed.[ Result] The microbial fertilizer could enhance the plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content, and number of leaves per plant significantly and improve soil environment, increasing soil ammo-nium nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content by 82.95%, 243.45%, and 181.54% respectively.Meanwhile, it could improve the qual-ity of A.selengensis, enhancing soluble protein, soluble sugar and total flavonoids content in A.selengensis by 30.25%, 21.26%, and 27. 93% respectively.[ Conclusion] The microbial fertilizer Nanjing shield can promote the growth of A.selengensis, and improve soil environ-ment and the quality of A.selengensis.
