Abstract
Based on the large-sample survey data of 2 314 peasant households in six provinces of Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Jilin, Hebei and Fujian, the factors influencing the multi-homesteads for one family were quantitatively analyzed by binary Logit model.Results showed that sever-al factors contributed to the muti-house situation, such as families with common surnames in a village, larger family size, higher family income per capita, family having occupied homestead and compensations, and family with lower satisfaction of housing.However, this situation was in-hibited if there were village cadres in family members.In order to promote the rational and optimal allocation of rural homestead resources and to improve the utilization efficiency, suggestions were put forward, such as developing shareholding township enterprises, implementing compensated use system of homestead, adopting policies to encourage homestead exit, and establishing circulation market of rural homestead.关键词
