摘要

Abstract

To analyze the influence of ultra-high voltage direct current(HVDC)on the AC system,and meet the de⁃mands of simulation scale and the speed of such a large-scale system,electromechanical-electromagnetic hybrid simula⁃tion program developed by China Electric Power Research Institute(CEPRI)is adopted in this paper,where 7 cross-re⁃gional HVDC links are modeled using electromagnetic transient simulation,and the whole AC system of three regions (North,Central and East China)using electromechanical transient simulation. Simulation results show that the hybrid simulation can reflect the AC-DC interaction process with a better accuracy,and simulate contingencies such as unbal⁃anced fault and multi-HVDC commutation failure;a fault in AC system may cause a simultaneous commutation failure among multiple HVDC links,therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the AC system at both the sending and receiving ends.
