Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of vacuum sealing drainage ( VSD) in the treatment of pediatric acute septic arthritis. Methods The blood culture positive acute septic arthritis patients, according to the treatment meth-od, were divided into the observation group ( continuous irrigation combined with VSD, 22 cases) and the control group ( traditional irrigation, 24 cases) ,two groups of hospitalization time, body temperature recovery normal time, dressing change frequency and times of treatment were compared. Results The observation group were followed up for 6 months to 2 years. The control group was followed up for 1~5 years. The complication in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The ob-servation group with hospitalization time, body temperature returned to normal time, dressing change times and times of treatment were better than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). Conclusions The ideal VSD treatment for children with acute septic arthritis effect, can shorten the recovery time, reduce the number of dressing and the number of treatment.关键词
