Abstract
Objective To explore clinical curative effect of external fixation combined with percutaneous wire cross fixation in the treatment of unstable type of distal radius fractures. Methods The external fixation combined with percutaneous wire cross fixation was used to treat 34 patients with unstable type of fractures of the distal part of the ra-dius. Results All cases were followed up for 6 ~14 months. X-ray examination showed that fracture got anatomical reduction, fixation was bony healing. According to the Green-O′brien wrist joint score standard:26 cases were excel-lent, 6 good, 2 poor, and excellent-good rate was 94. 1%. There was not wire tract infection, osteomyelitis, iatro-genic neural tendon injury and sympathetic nerve reflex bone complications such as malnutrition. Stiff joints occurred in two cases, and the symptoms were improved after active functional exercise. Conclusions External fixation com-bined with percutaneous wire cross fixation in the treatment of unstable type of distal radius fractures can reach ana-tomical repositioning, reliable fixation, and effectively reduce the wrist joint dysfunction.关键词
