摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of different degrees of myopia on the thickness of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL).Methods From September 2014 to September 2015, totally 120 cases of myopia in our hospital were en-rolled in this study.Patients were divided into 3 groups according to the degree of myopia:mild ( n =40) , moderate ( n=40) and high myopia ( n =40).Another 40 normal subjects were included as control.Optical coherence tomography ( OCT) was used to measure RNFL thickness.Results RNFL thickness was not significantly different between mild myo-pia patients and normal subjects, whereas in patients with moderate to high myopia, RNFL was significantly reduced ( P<0.05).Conclusions RNFL thickness is significantly reduced in moderate to high degree of myopia.RNFL thickness can be used to aid in evaluation the degree of myopia.关键词
