Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of sublingual dermatophagoides farinae drops administration on the treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.Methods From January 2012 to April 2016 we treated 156 cases of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.Patients received sublingual dermatophagoides farinae drops or cromolyn eye drops as control.We studied the differences in ocular symtopms and signs between the two groups.Results Ocular symptom score was not dif-ferent between the two group of patients before treatment.After treatment, symptoms improved in both groups of patients. At 3, 12, and 24 months, patients treated with sublingual dermatophagoides farinae drops felt significantly better than those who were treated with cromolyn eye drops ( P <0.05).Overall effective rate was 93.59%in patients treated with sublin-gual dermatophagoides farinae drops, while it was 82.05%in control group ( P <0.05).There was no serious adverse re-actions in either group.Conclusions Sublingual dermatophagoides farinae drops could improve eye symptoms in allergic patients.This treatment also could reduce the use of steroids and anti-histamine drugs.关键词
