摘要
Abstract
William Butler Yeats is one of the most famous poets in the twentieth century. His works containing a great deal of religious beliefs have been largely prevalent."Spiritus mundi" is one of his religious beliefs that had been founded based on his personal experiences of east and west occultism. I-Ching,one of Chinese classical philos-ophy,has similarity toYeats’religious beliefs. They both present dialectical relationship and development of objec-tive things. The paper tries to analyze Spiritus mundi in The Second Coming from the perspective of Occultism,ai-ming at probing the genesis and containing world spirit of"Spiritus mundi"as well as the similarity between Yeats’ religious beliefs and philosophy of I-Ching.关键词
