Abstract
The Sanmenxia-Jingmen railway section is constructed to promote local economy development and improve railway network. The selection of railway station location plays a significant role in economic development and utilization of local resources. Therefore, such location of the railway station should be selected to best meet the requirements for economical, ecological and cultural conditions. Based on the study of the route alignment of the whole railway from the west Inner Mongolia to Central China, this pepper analyzes the main factors, such as the engineering geological conditions, environmental sensitivity, the length of line, engineering investment, the demand of the local economic development, and comes up with two alternative schemes (‘far-city’ scheme and near-city scheme) of station location. Through comparison of the two schemes, the ‘far-city’ scheme is recommended for Neixiang West railway station.关键词
