Abstract
Cr-based catalysts for propane dehydrogenation were prepared with γ-Al2O3 as support, Cr2O3 as active component, and CuO and Ga2O3 as promoters. The effect of CuO and Ga2O3 promoters on catalytic performance for was investigated. Results show that the addition of CuO could increase the selectivity to propylene and improve the stability of catalyst, but decrease the activity of dehydrogenation;and the addition of Ga2O3 could increase the selectivity to propylene, but the dehydrogenation activity increases first and then decreases. The combination of CuO and Ga2O3 could effectively improve the dehydrogenation activity, product selectivity and catalyst stability. The modified catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 physical adsorption and NH3-TPD, and results indicated that CuO and Ga2O3 mainly improve the performance of Cr-based dehydrogenation catalysts by adjusting the acidity of the catalyst.关键词
