文学伦理学视域下苏三与玛格丽特之比较
Comparison of Susan and Margaret from Perspective of Literary Ethics
摘要
Abstract
The image of a prostitute is shaped both in Yutangchun Luonan Feng Fu by Feng Menglong from the Ming Dynasty and La Traviata by Alexandre Dumas Fils from France in 19th century. As a prostitute, Susan and Margaret not only share a common ethic identity, but also face the same ethical dilemma: hesitation between fighting for love and compromising to the environment. Ultimately, Susan is faithful and revolted, Margaret compromised. Their different ethical choices reflect their different ethical pursuits. Susan returned to the family, and Margaret got religion. Although they have different ethical choices and pursuits, the different destinies and endings reveal the moral teachings and ethical value contained in and transferred from the two literary works. That is:the oppressed is bound to resist for winning a better life.关键词
