摘要

Abstract

The photoprotective mechanism is a protective measure to deal with the complex and changeable natural environment. These measures from morphological, physiological and biochemical aspects reflect the ability of plants to adapt to the environment. According to the mechanism of inhibition of light, light damage to present situation and the plant defense mechanisms and xanthophyll cycle in higher plants mechanism studies were reviewed in recent years. It was believed that the defense mechanism of the xanthophyll cycle plant photoprotection is one of the important measures for plant photoprotection.
