Abstract
Intensity of use of mineral commodities is used to describe the consumption of mineral products relative to per capita GDP which is related to process of industrialization stage and Industry maturity in the stage and could serve as stage indicators of consumption of mineral products. On this ground, a speciifc consumption stage would be studied by Applying intensity of use. This paper takes historical apparent consumption data of crude steel and primary energy of China and United States as examples for studies of intensity of use and make correlation between two countries. Three Indicators of intensity of use for crude steel and primary energy of China from 2015-2030 are predicted. At last, the prospects of mining development of China in ‘New Normal’ is studied.关键词
