Abstract
It is the basis and premise to judge the historical position and mining industry trend, to analyze the advantages and weaknesses of mining industry development in Xinjiang, if we want to study the resources problems in Xinjiang. In the ifrst half year of 2016, the international and domestic situation of mining industry is weak, the world economic growth is lower than expected, the support for mining recovery is weak, and there’s a lack of motivation. In the meantime, we are facing a new crisis of mining development in urgent need of new momentum in China. The geographical, resources and policy advantages of mining industry in Xinjiang are obvious, but there are also some weakness, for example it’s far from the origin market, and it’s output-based economy, the transportation costs is high due to the inland location, plus there’s also a small proportion of the follow-up industries and the industrial chain shorter, also the concentration of supporting degree is low. Currently the biggest problem in Xinjiang is the low conversion efifciency of the mineral resources advantages into economic advantages, and the problem should be resolved through ifve methods as follows: improving the efifciency of investment; combining the industry with ifnancial capital; strengthening the capacity of international cooperation; promoting supply-side structural reforms; promoting the construction of ecological civilization.关键词
