The level of histone in urine of patients with Alzheimer's disease or elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract
Objectives By investigate the level of histone in urine of patients with Alzheimer 's disease ( AD) or elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus ( T2DM) to seek whether there has common pathogenesis between AD and T 2DM.Methods The u-rine samples obtained from 22 healthy individuals and 20 patients with T2DM and 20 patients with AD.The protein were analyzed by mass spectrometry after enrichment using weak cationic-exchange magnetic beads .Then the datum were analyzed by proteinPilot ( V.4.5) to determine the type of the protein .Results Compared with normal control group ,the significant increased protein are histone H2B,histone H2A and histone H4 in both of AD and T2DM patients.Conclusions Histone deacetylases and inflammation may have an effect on the high level of histone in urine .关键词
