麻醉前电针干预对老年患者术后认知功能障碍的防治作用
Prevention and cure effect of electroacupuncture before anesthesia on postoperative cognitive dysfunc-tion in elderly patients

Abstract
Objective To study the prevention and cure effects of electroacupuncture anesthesia on postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) in elderly patients with rectal carcinoma under general anesthesia. Method Patients who need to have surgical operation done for rectal carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups: electroacupuncture group (electroacupuncture, 30 cases) and control group (only routine intravenous anesthesia, 30 cases), and electroacupuncture was administered to patients in electroacupuncture group for 30 minutes before anesthesia until the end of the operation. 1 day before anesthesia, 1 day, 3 days and 7 days after operation, the incidence rate of POCD, postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) between the two groups were statistically analyzed, the cognitive function of the two groups were evaluated by mini-mental state examination (MMSE). Result 1 day and 3 days after operation, the incidence rate of POCD in electroacupuncture group was 40.00%(12/30), 13.33%(4/30) respectively, and which was 66.67%(20/30), 43.33%(13/30) in control group, the differences between the two groups were significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in MMSE scores between the two groups before anesthesia (P>0.05). 1 day and 3 days after operation, MMSE scores of electroacupuncture group were (23.77±2.08) points, (19.69±1.70) points respectively, which were (26.78±2.16) points, (23.41±2.18) points in control group, the differences between the two groups were significant (P < 0.05). The incidence rate of PONV was 26.67% (8/30) in electroacupuncture group, which was 40.00%(12/30) in control group, the difference between the two groupswas significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture can significantly improve the prognosis of patients and reduce the incidence of POCD.关键词
