Abstract

ABSTRACT:For output oscillation problem when parallel inverter system uses conventional voltage amplitude and frequency droop control, introducing power differential term in droop control is an effective method to solve this problem. A complete small-signal model of conventional droop control with power differential droop control added is developed. Firstly, impact of droop parameters and power differential parameters on eigenvalue distribution is studied. It is concluded that damping ratio of low-frequency eigenvalues is increased and oscillation caused by disturbance is suppressed when power differential term is added. Secondly, influence of control parameters on system small-signal stability is analyzed, providing theoretical basis for parallel system performance analysis and droop coefficient design. Above conclusions are verified with Matlab/Simulink simulation.
