Regulatory Functions and Mechanism of Butyrate on Gene Expressions in Mammary Glands
摘要
Abstract
Butyrate, as one of the most important kinds of short chain fatty acids, plays some important physi-ological roles as a signal molecule and its receptor, for regulate lipid metabolism in the mammary gland, liver and fatty tissue. The mechanism of butyric acid is multifaceted and its involvement in the regulation of gene ex-pression. Butyric acids not only regulate the expression of a particular gene, but also involved in the regulation of signaling pathways and gene networks. This paper reviewed the regulatory functions of butyrate in the mam-mary tissue and its mechanism as a precursor of milk fat, histonede acetylase ( DHAC) inhibitors and the lig-and of G-protein coupled receptors on gene expressions.关键词
