摘要

Abstract

In order to achieve low power gain control of analog front end circuit,a variable gain amplifier(VGA)is proposed based on the duty-cycle of a control signal and the ultra-regeneration,it can realize the precise control of the gain. Different from the traditional majority of variable gain amplifiers,the proposed VGA circuit is not used in digital control and the interface between the amplifier and the DC/AC converter. VGA integrated circuit implement⁃ed using 0.18μm CMOS technology to design the adm is to achieve low power consumption. Both simulation and test results show that the maximum gain of the amplifier in the linear range of 900 mV is 45 dB,the total harmonic distortion is 0.5%,and the power consumption is 6.4μW. Compared to the conventional variable gain amplifier,the variable gain amplifier exhibits a greater gain range and lower power consumption.
