Abstract

N-K2Ti4O9/g-C3N4/UiO-66 ternary composites were successfully synthesized via a facile solvothermal method,and were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction,field-emission transmission electron microscopy,photoluminescence emission spectra,ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy,and valence band X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The photocatalytic activities of N-K2Ti4O9,g-C3N4,UiO-66,N-K2Ti4O9/g-C3N4,and N-K2Ti4 O9/g-C3N4/UiO-66 were investigated through the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under visible light irradiation.The results showed that the ternary composites exhibited higher photocatalytic activity than the pure materials and binary composites.The synergistically enhanced photocatalytic activity of the ternary composites was due to the large adsorption capacity of UiO-66 for RhB,conduction ability of g-C3N4,and the compounding promoted separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.
