Optimization fermentation medium for production of biosurfactant by Rhodococcus SY095

Abstract
To improve biosurfactant production,fermentation conditions of Rhodococcus SY095 were studied by optimization experiments.Based on the single factor experiment,soybean oil and urea were selected as the best carbon and nitrogen source,respectively.The Plackett-Burman design was used to evaluate the influence of related factors,and two significant factors,urea and monopotassium phosphate were selected.The path of steepest ascent and response surface methodology were used to explore optimal levels of significant factors.The optimal medium composition for biosurfactant production by Rhodococcus SY095 was determined as follows:soybean oil of 2%,urea of 2.35 g · L-1,monopotassium phosphate of 0.69 g · L-1,dipotassium hydrogen phosphate of 1 g · L-1,and magnesium sulfate 0.5 g · L-1.With this optimum medium,the surface tension of the culture could reach 29.054 mN · m-1,which was 12.9% higher than that using the original medium.关键词
