Exploration of Theoretical Origin and Value of“Three Stricts and Three Steadies”

Abstract
Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC, requests cadres at all levels“to be strict in cultivating one’ s moral char⁃acter, preventing abuse of power and disciplining oneself and be steady in planning matters, starting undertakings and conducting oneself”. The request not only includes all the requirements of our party’ s leading cadres, but also embodies the core requirements of the socialist core values. “Three Stricts and Three Steadies” are deeply rooted in the soil of Chinese traditional culture, and has a profound ideological origin, theoretical meaning and time value. “Three Stricts and Three Steadies” is the reflection of Confucian thought as “deliberately cultivation”, “love and benevolence”, “uniting knowledge and action” and “self-denial and mainte⁃nance”.关键词
