Abstract
Objective:To use three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging(3D-STI) to evaluate the left ventricular systolic function in patients with hyperthyroidism and explore the correlation on the left ventricular peak strain and the level of type B natriuretic peptide(BNP).Method:From May 2015 to November 2015, 63 cases of hyperthyroidism were selected as the research objects,they were divided into hyperthyroidism group of 31 cases and hyperthyroid heart disease group of 32 cases according to the diagnostic criteria of hyperthyroidism and thyroid heart disease.Another 30 cases of healthy volunteers were selected as the control group.Routine and three dimensional echocardiography were performed in the three groups,left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVDD), left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVSD),interventricular septal thickness(IVST),left ventricular posterior wall end diastolic thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),global longitudinal strain (GLS),circumferential strain(GCS),area strain(GAS),radial strain(GRS) and plasma BNP level were measured.Result:GLS,GCS,GAS and GRS in hyperthyroidism group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05),hyperthyroid heart disease group were lower than those of hyperthyroidism group and the control group (P<0.05),there were no significant differences in LVDD,LVSD,IVST,LVPWT and LVEF values in the hyperthyroidism group and the control group(P>0.05),LVDD and LVSD in hyperthyroid heart disease group were higher than those of hyperthyroidism group and the control group(P<0.01),LVEF in hyperthyroid heart disease group were lower than hyperthyroidism group and the control group(P<0.01),there were no significant differences in IVST and LVPWT values among three groups(P>0.05),plasma BNP level of hyperthyroidism group was higher than that of the control group,hyperthyroid heart disease group were higher than those of hyperthyroidism group and the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The values of GLS,GCS,GAS and GRS were negatively correlated with BNP levels,and the correlation in GLS and GAS were the best.Conclusion:3D-STI can early detect the changes of the left ventricular systolic function in patients with hyperthyroidism and combined with plasma BNP levels can sensitive indicator to reflect the cardiac function and myocardial damage.关键词
