Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effect of periodontal orthodontic treatment on the anterior teeth sector displacement in patients with periodontitis.Method:44 cases with anterior teeth displacement periodontitis (a total of 266 teeth)were selected in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2015,they were given periodontal orthodontic method,the bleeding gums, teeth with pocket depth and degree of loosening and alveolar bone absorption before and after the treatment of patients were compared.Result:Periodontal treatment and orthodontic treatment after the gingival bleeding index 0 score were respectively 186 cases (69.92%) and 190 cases (71.43%), which significantly increased than before treatment of 45 cases (16.92%),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Orthodontic treatment of periodontal pocket depth ≤3 mm was 75.94%,loosening of the teeth 0 degrees was 86.09%,which were significantly better than that of periodontal treatment before and after 25.56%, 48.87% and 65.04%,72.93%,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After orthodontic treatment,the alveolar bone absorption in the root length of 1/2 was 10.53%,which significantly reduced than the periodontal treatment in root length of 1/2 with 18.80%, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The effect of periodontal orthodontic treatment on anterior teeth sector displacement caused by periodontitis is significant.It can not only control the adverse effects caused by inflammation,but also benefit the patients’ periodontal recovery.关键词
