Abstract

The patents in the world ' s wireless charging field were statistically analyzed mainly in the aspects of patent distribution, patent owners, classification numbers and highly cited patents to investigate the global patent competi-tion situation in the field, so as to reveal the real status of the research on wireless charging techniques as well as China' s level in the field.Meanwhile, the competition between enterprises and the core technologies in wireless charging were further analyzed through constructing the affiliation network between the patent owner and the classifi-cation number.The results show that most of the wireless charging patents concentrate in the United States, South Korea and Japan, and Chinese patents mostly concentrate in the Taiwan area.The companies of Toyota, SONY and Samsung have the very high load value on the proprietary technology factors, and the companys' patents are closely related to the field of wireless charging, with the strong competitive advantage in the core technology innovation. The companies of Bombardier transportation, Vodafone, Rockwell International have the very high load value on the general technical factors.The companys' patent have the good versatility, broad scope, possessing obvious compet-itive advantage in the field of technology application.
