Fast TDOA/FDOA estimation method based on coherent accumulative of short-time CAF

Abstract
In order to solve the huge calculation problem in conventional cross ambiguity function (CAF ) algorithm for TDOA/FDOA estimation,this paper proposed a fast algorithm using short-time CAF based on coherent accumulation and ap-proximate calculation.From the definition of CAF,the proposed algorithm cut the CAF function into short and coherent CAFs using phase correction factor,and then made approximate calculation in each short CAF.Compared with conventional CAF al-gorithm,the proposed algorithm reduces the computation time both from the short CAFs and the approximate calculation.It compared conventional CAF algorithm and the proposed algorithm under the same environment.Simulation results show the ef-fectiveness of the proposed algorithm.It can cut down the time consumption around 90%.关键词
