Abstract
The composite materials were prepared by inserting polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) molecules into the Na‐montmorillonite (NaM M T ) using solution intercalated method .T he effect of NaM‐MT content on the properties of polyvinyl alcoho/montmorillonite (PVA/MMT) nanocomposite was studied . The structure and properties of composite wered studed by X‐ray diffraction (XRD) ,and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) .The XRD patterns show that when the d val‐ue of the silicates layers of NaMMT increased from 1.26 nm to 2.56nm and 2.77nm ,the interca‐lated and exfoliated nanocompesites wered obtained. SEM images showed well‐distributed micro‐structure and higher thermal properties. In addition ,NaM M T is beneficial to the improvement of the performance , w hen the content of montmorillonite is 7% , the tensile strength can reach 88.3Mpa ,which is increased by 103.73% than that of the pure PVA film .关键词
