Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of long retention of needles in scalp emotional zone plus medication for generalized anxiety disorder.Methods Sixty anxiety patients were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 30 cases each. The treatment group received long retention of needles in scalp emotional zone plus oral administration of buspirone hydrochloride tablets and the control group, oral administration of buspirone hydrochloride tablets alone. The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) score was recorded in the two groups before and after treatment. The therapeutic effects and the recurrence rates were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results The total efficacy rate was 93.3% in the treatment group and 83.3% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in the HAMA score in the two groups (P<0.01). There was a statistically significant post-treatment difference in the HAMA score between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05). The recurrence rate was 20.0% in the treatment group and 42.1% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion Long retention of needles in scalp emotional zone plus medication is an effective way to treat generalized anxiety disorder.关键词
