电针治疗乳腺增生病疗效观察
Therapeutic Observation of Electroacupuncture for Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands

Abstract
Objective To objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture in treating hyperplasia of mammary glands.Method Totally 160 patients with hyperplasia of mammary glands were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 80 cases in each group. The two groups were both intervened in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle: the treatment group was by electroacupuncture, while the control group was by oral administration of Ru Shu Kang capsules. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), imaging score, and relevant hormone levels were observed before and after treatment, the clinical efficacies were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate and recovery plus markedly-effective rate were respective 83.3% and 15.1% in the treatment group, versus 83.5% and 19.0% in the control group, and the between-group differences were statistically insignificant(P>0.05). The VAS and imaging scores were significantly changed after intervention in both groups (P<0.01,P<0.05). After treatment, there were no significant differences in comparing the VAS and imaging scores between the two groups (P>0.05). The prolactin (PRL) and estradiol/progesterone levels didn’t show marked changes after treatment in the two groups (P>0.05). The differences in comparing the PRL and estradiol/progesterone levels between the two groups were statistically insignificant after intervention (P>0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture is an effective approach in treating hyperplasia of mammary glands.关键词
